Gothics make for great reading, and we all have our favorites: Dracula, Frankenstein, Interview with the Vampire, Jane Eyre, Rebecca, Wuthering Heights—even Stephen King’s Misery and The Shining. I love the crumbling estates, dramatic weather, eccentric characters, and inherent secrets that make up a great gothic story.
